Robert Groves has been a Member of the Employment Standards Tribunal
since 2004. Mr. Groves is a lawyer practising employment law in Kelowna,
having been called to the Bar in British Columbia in 1980. He is a mediator
and arbitrator, and is a member of the BC Mediator Roster Society and
the British Columbia Arbitration and Mediation Institute.
Mr.
Groves is a Co-Chair of the Okanagan Sub-section of the Alternate Dispute
Resolution Section of the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch. He served
for several years as a member of the executive of the Kelowna Bar Association,
and as President in 2003-2004. He is a director of the BC School Personnel
Association, the Kelowna Museum Association, and the YMCA-YWCA of the
Central Okanagan.
